Kitchenaid Mini Mixer can beat a single egg white
This my kitchenAid mini mixerin my teeny-tiny kitchen
It fits nicely under my small cabinets
In my small, one bedroom kitchen
It does some things I haven't seen tested yet,I wanted to see how little it can do...
I want to see if it can beat one egg white
I want to see if can make a batch of pancakes for one person
Because that's what it's for: a small kitchen, cooking for 1 or 2 people
Here is my one egg white
Locked and put it on "Slow Start", and then turn it up.
Well it is touching the bottom of the bowland beating the single egg white
Which the standard size KitchenAid doesn't do
What's interesting is the KitchenAid bowlactually has a bump in the bottom
So that when I use the paddle beater it actual reaches the bottom
It looks like it's whipping up the single egg white nicely
I'm impressed! I can't whip up one egg white using the standard sized KitchenAid Mixer
A little close look
Let's turn it down and see how it does...
There's a peak! So it whipped up one egg white, perfectly!
OK, now I'm make the pancake batter for one person.BW, there is the notch in the bottom of the blade.
This is the Williams-Sonoma special editionthat came with the wiper blade and handle on the bowl.
Now to add the ingredients.
Let see how this works
First I put it on "Slow Start"
A little bit faster...
it looks like it's hitting all the sides of the bowl
So I've heard complaints about the other beater(without the wiper)
that it leaves stuff on the side of the bowl
but this one seems to be doinga fine job hitting everything
It works great for small jobs!
This is my review of the KitchenAid Mini Mixer with the wiper blade. I wanted to see how it handled small tasks for serving 1 or 2 people, so I tested whipping 1 egg white, and making a single serving of pancakes.
